Danosha support

Danosha is cooperating with 19 village councils of Kalush, Halych and Zhydachiv districts, namely with 30 villages.

One of the cooperation development and improving tools is the Social Fund which provides social assistance to the village councils and villagers. Besides different projects financing Danosha Social Fund also provided some sponsorship every year: Easter gifts, St. Nicolas Day gifts, gas supply projects financing, providing a pig for village day celebration, cleaning the roads with a grader and cutting grass alongside roads.

In 2011 Danosha created a social fund in the amount of 450.000 UAH which is divided according to the amount of rented land and number of pigs placed in the farms located on the territories of village councils.

It is planned that in 2012 the Social Fund will spend a budgeted amount of 540 000 UAH for implementation of different projects in the villages. Village councils will apply to the Social Committee which makes the decision about sponsorship of some project. The meeting of this committee (consists of three representatives from authorities and two from Danosha) is held twice per year.

The Social Fund of Danosha

In 2011 Danosha established a Social Fund in order to support local community. In this respect Danosha together with village heads and local authorities created committees for each of the districts:

• Kalush district
• Galich district

Each committee consists of representatives from villages, District Administration and District Council together with representatives from Danosha.

Committees are having meetings 3 times per year, and before each meeting village heads have opportunity to apply with their ideas how to use the Fund’s resources.

The task of the committee is to evaluate applications and select those to be sponsered by Social Fund.
